Professional Communication

Our weekly workshops are for all students (UG, PGT and PGR) who are new to study in the UK and/or for whom English is an additional language.

These workshops focus on the language and conventions of communicating in a professional environment, including CVs and job applications, as well as email correspondence, and expressions for meetings online and in person in a professional context.

Please register via our Events Calendar. You'll receive a confirmation email with an ical invitation that you can save to your calendar. As the workshops won't appear in your timetable, you can add it to your university calendar so you don't miss the sessions. Please be aware that when you save the ical invitation, it may go to your personal calendar rather than your university calendar. So check there and copy it across.
